Yard of the Month

Pasco’s Yard of the Month program has been ongoing since 1990 as recognition for residential property owners who take extra care and pride in maintaining their properties. In 2006, a commercial category was added. Volunteer judges review properties within a geographical district and nominate an outstanding property for each month from May to September.

• A Yard of the Month sign identifies the property (placed and removed by City staff).
• A Proclamation certificate awarded by the Pasco City Council.
• Name and address published in an advertisement in the Tri-City Herald.
• Pictures of the winning yards will be displayed at City Hall and City website (click here to see pictures).
• An announcement on the PSC-TV Community Calendar.
