A project to improve 4th Avenue from Sylvester Street to Court Street in Pasco is underway and will continue through September. Construction involves the installation of a round-about at the point where 3rd and 4th Avenues meet at the north end of Volunteer Park, as well as sidewalk and landscaping improvements along 4th between Sylvester and Court. Expect intermittent delays and possible temporary lane and road closures. Detours will be in effect.

The $1.2 million project is funded with $700,000 from a Washington State Transportation Improvement Board grant and $500,000 from the City’s Capital Improvement Fund.
