Utility Billing Information: Pay Your Bill Online
Utility Bills. Bills are produced once every month. The meter is actually read every other month. The comsumption for the off month usage is estimated. This can be confusing if your bill shows a negative usage amount.
Utility Bills are considered late 20 days from the billing date.
The utility bill can contain many items:
a monthly base fee for water, depending on the size of the meter, which includes a consumption charge for every one hundred cubic feet (ccf) of water used (one cubic foot is approx. 7.5 gallons).
a monthly base fee for sewer.
Commercial accounts are charged an additional sewer fee based on water usage over 1,000 cubic feet per month.
a storm drain fee,
an irrigation charge (for those with access to irrigation)
a monthly ambulance utility fee.
