Utility Rates:
Water, sewer, storm drain and irrigation utility rates are under constant review to provide adequate and stable funds to operate each utility.
The last water rate increase was effective in January 2004.
The last sewer adjustment was effective January 2007 (a 10% reduction in base fees).
The Criteria considered in rate studies and analyses include customer classes of service (residential vs commercial), revenue bonding requirements and future needs for infrastructure improvements.
