New Accounts:
Each new account on an existing service pays an account set-up fee plus a deposit amount (two months of base fees) to secure payment of all charges required by the Pasco Municipal Code.
If a property owner has two years of utility services without default or delinquency, or transfers services from one service location to another with good credit history, no advance minimum may be required and/or the deposit is refunded (or posted as a payment on your account).
Brand new services (new construction) will pay system development charges in addition to the set-up fees and deposits.
Renters need to come to City Hall and bring in their rental agreement to sign up for utility service. Most Landlords have made arrangements with us to collect an additional amount in deposit from their tenants.
