STAFF
The Pasco Fire Department maintains a career paid staff of 48. Pasco Fire Department has 3 shift captains, 9 station lieutenants, 15 firefighter/paramedics and 21 firefighters. There are 3 stations; each station has an engine and a paramedic ambulance. The department has 3 alternating 24 hours shifts. Each shift is supervised by the shift captain, and each station is supervised by the stations shift lieutenant.
SERVICES
Pasco Fire Department provides services to the citizens of Pasco including:
• Haz Mat Response Team
• Involved with teaching school age children fire safety with the Life Safety House
• Standby for police department for drug lab safety precautions
• Provide information to children that may have problems with fire
• Standby for medical aid for sporting events
• Participation in local parades
• Participation in local festivals in Pasco to educate to public on fire safety
• Manages a Fire safety self inspection program for business
