The Pasco Police Department currently has four Mini-Stations throughout the city. Each Mini-Station is manned by an assigned Area Resource Officer. It was designed with the purpose of creating a more personalized relationship between the community and the police department. These officers are assigned to a specific geographical area with the objective of developing an ongoing proactive relationship with the community to address concerns in that specific area. The community benefits from having an officer dedicated to their area that develops and responds by implementing resources beneficial to their needs. They are also available to offer educational training and community awareness presentations, in conjunction with the Crime Prevention Unit, upon request.
