Please take notice that the regular quarterly meeting of the Pasco Public Facilities
District Board of Directors has been rescheduled to 6:00 p.m., on Wednesday, February 1 in the Council Chambers at Pasco City Hall.
This will be a joint meeting with a Council Committee and Parks and Recreation
Advisory Committee to discuss the possible development of an aquatic/recreation

The Park and Recreation Advisory Board advises the City Council and the City Manager on matters pertaining to recreation programs, including senior citizen programs. The Board also advises the Council on the planning, development, improvement, beautification, equipping, and maintaining of public parks, playgrounds, recreation facilities and resources. Members serve 3-year terms.

The Code Enforcement Board hears alleged violations of the City Code regarding property maintenance standards as investigated by Code Enforcement staff. Board members serve 2-year terms.

The City Council holds workshops the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month, where the Council discusses issues, but no formal action is taken.

The Planning Commission makes recommendations to the City Council on the city's Comprehensive Plan, the Subdivision Ordinance, and Zoning Ordinance of the Municipal Code. Along with workshops on other land use-related issues, the commission holds public hearings for planned-unit developments, preliminary plats, re-zones, and special permits.

The Civil Service Commission is a citizen board mandated and governed by Washington State statutes.
This commission works to ensure that hiring, promotions, and appointments to the ranks of the Police Department and Fire Department are made in a fair and unbiased process. The Civil Service Commission may also review disciplinary actions should an employee appeal such actions to the board. Members serve 6-year terms.
