Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., (excluding observed holidays).

 

Human Resources is responsible for providing support and services to the City of Pasco employees and maintaining effective working relationships with outside organizations and the general public.

Human Resources functions include developing, managing and administering operations within the following areas:

  • Recruitment:
    • Available positions, application process, including Civil Service (Police & Fire) recruitment.
  • Labor Relations:
    • Employees represented by unions and collective bargaining agreements.
  • Compensation & Classification:
    • Wage information and job descriptions.
  • Policies & Procedures:
    • Compliance with state and federal employment law and City policies and procedures.
  • Benefits Administration
  • Payroll Administration
