The Pasco City Prosecutor’s office prosecutes misdemeanor and gross misdemeanor charges filed in Pasco Municipal Court authorized by the Pasco Municipal Code.

The prosecutors are also involved with infractions filed in Municipal Court when the person who received the infraction requests a Pre-Hearing Conference or a Contested Hearing.

The prosecutor’s office does not give legal advice to citizens, nor does it file actions on behalf of individual citizens.
