2014 CDBG FUNDS REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

The City of Pasco is accepting proposals for 2014 Community Development Block Grant Funds. The City will have limited funds available (estimated $550,000) to be used for eligible Block Grant activities.  This includes estimated entitlements and program income. To be considered for funding, proposals will be vetted for feasibility, capacity, eligibility, and must meet one of the following national objectives:

• Principally benefit lower income persons;
• Eliminate slum or blight;
• Create jobs for low-to-moderate income persons.

As a matter of City policy, proposals are not accepted for social service activities. Please be aware that due to the federal funding process, funds allocated for FY-2014 will normally not be available for distribution until May 2014.
