Finalists present their art proposal. At the January 24th regular meeting, Commissioners selected Artist Seth Vandable of Texas to create a sculpture of Peanuts' to be installed in Peanuts' Plaza. Staff begin drafting necessary documents for Pasco's very first sculpture.

The City of Pasco published a Call for Art inviting artists to commission Pasco's first piece of public art: a statue of Noburo 'Peanuts' Fukuda, a well-loved community figure. The art piece will be installed in the newly-renovated Peanuts Park Plaza, named after Mr. Fukuda himself.
