Nikki Torres

Background Information

Councilmember Nikki Torres was elected the District 3 representative to the City Council in November 2021.

Pasco has been her home for over 40 years where she raised two wonderful daughters and three amazing grandchildren. Torres attended Pasco Schools and received a Master in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. Currently, she serves as a Strategic Partnerships Manager for Western Governors University and is a member of the Association of Washington Business Grassroots Alliance. Prior to this, she was a Small Business Development Officer working with small businesses on lending and Paycheck Protection Program needs. Torres also served as President of the Tri-Cities Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, am a past Board Member of Tri-Cities Community Health, Visit Tri-Cities, and the Kennewick Police Department Foundation, and served an appointed term to the WA State Childcare Collaborative Taskforce. Torres has also served on numerous committees such as Latino Heritage Mural, Dia De Los Muertos Scholarship Fun Run, and as a classroom volunteer for Junior Achievement.

Torres is very passionate about our community here in Pasco and I enjoy the many parks, the Farmers Market, access to the river, and tacos!
