Mayor Saul Martinez was appointed to the City Council in June 2010 and elected Mayor in January 2020. He serves as the District 3 representative.
Saul Martinez has been a resident of Pasco since 2002 and is married to Neddy Martinez, his wife of over 20 years. Together, Saul and Neddy have 4 children.
Saul has a passion to provide opportunities for success and improving the quality of life for the citizens of Pasco. Saul grew up in a large close-knit family in the small town of Mesa, Washington. Saul is a graduate of Connell High School and later received his Associate of Arts degree from Columbia Basin College.
Saul is currently employed by HMIS (Hanford Mission Integrated Support) as an Environmental Compliance Officer and is also the owner of a small business in Pasco.
Prior to his appointment to the City Council, Saul held the position of President for the Pasco School Board and served on the Pasco School Board for 5 years. Saul is currently a member of Leadership Tri-Cities, Class XV, and an active volunteer for the Washington Jr. Golf Association.
