About the Advisory Board
The Park and Recreation Advisory Board advises the City Council and the City Manager on matters pertaining to recreation programs, including senior citizen programs. The Board also advises the Council on the planning, development, improvement, beautification, equipping, and maintaining of public parks, playgrounds, recreation facilities, and resources. Members serve 3-year terms.
