  • SCOPE OF WORK IS AMENDED AS FOLLOWS:
  • SEAL FURNACE DUCT FLOOR PENETRATION BETWEEN BEDROOM CLOSET AND MECHANICAL ROOM.
  • SEAL HOLES AROUND BATHROOM WINDOW WITH EXTERIOR GRADE SIDING MATERIAL, FOR A FINISHED LOOK AND PATCH HOLES.
  • 2ND EGRESS WINDOW IN DOWNSTAIRS BASEMENT BEDROOM

The City of Pasco, Washington (City) is inviting and requesting bids for the Neighborhood Stabilization Program rehabilitation project at 1132 W Margaret Street, Pasco, WA. The work will include egress window installation in basement bedroom, re-roof, installation of kitchen ventilation, hand-rail, smoke and CO detectors, inspection and cleaning chimney and HVAC, change out electrical outlets, T&P valve installation and faucet repair or replacement, minor interior finishing work, exterior lead-based paint abatement and siding repair. This project is subject to residential prevailing wage rates for Franklin County, Washington and Lead Safe Work practices.

Bid documents including plans and specifications, may be obtained beginning Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. from the Community & Economic Development Office, City Hall, 525 North Third Avenue, Pasco, Washington. Contact Krystle Shanks at (509) 545-3441 to ensure availability.

Bids shall be addressed to the Mayor and City Council and will be received at the Community & Economic Development office no later than 2:30 p.m. on Friday, March 20, 2015. At the date and time specified bids shall be publicly opened in the Planning Conference Room 8 and read aloud.

Bids will only be accepted from contractors on our Plan Holder's List. To be placed on the Plan Holder's List you must pay a $25.00 fee for a copy of the Bid Packet, which can be obtained at the Community & Economic Development Office, prior to the bid opening on March 20, 2015 at 2:00 p.m.

Bids are to be submitted only on forms provided in the specifications. All bids must be accompanied by a "Good Faith Token" in the form of a certified or bank cashier's check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount, payable to the City of Pasco, or bid bond executed by a licensed bonding company.

Bids will only be accepted from responsible Contractors eligible to perform services for the City and who have obtained bid documents directly from the City of Pasco Community & Economic Development Department. Qualified contractor must be RRP certified.

Contractors may participate in a non-mandatory pre-bid walk-through on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. Please call Krystle Shanks at 545-3441 to schedule. Representatives of the city will be available to discuss the project and address questions.
