The Pasco City Council, in the Workshop Meeting of February 10, had three items up for discussion:
-City staff presented an update on the Tri-City Animal Shelter, including some history, current conditions, and the status of new shelter planning. City staff hope to have some recommendations for Council consideration within 3-4 months.
-The second item was a discussion on parking code updates as they relate to junk or abandoned cars in the City’s rights-of-way. Staff will be coming back to the Council on further revisions to the proposed ordinance changes based on the feedback received at the meeting.
-The last item of conversation was the first of four updates to the Pasco Municipal Code to remove conflicting text and meet the requirements of state and federal laws.
