Emergency Utility and Rental Assistance

HomeConsortium

The Tri-Cities HOME Consortium (the Cities of Kennewick, Pasco, and Richland) has awarded $700,000 to Benton Franklin Community Action Committee (CAC) to administer an emergency, short-term, tenant-based Rental Assistance Program helping low income-qualified families and individuals living in Kennewick, Pasco, or Richland who are experiencing financial hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic with rent and utility assistance.

The program will provide past-due and/or upcoming rent and utility, per qualifying household. Payment will be made directly to the household’s provider.

Franklin County is also providing assistance, in cooperation with Benton County, for residents.  More information on the County program can be found at https://www.co.benton.wa.us/pview.aspx?id=1753&catid=45.
