The City is currently updating the Stormwater Management Program Plan (SWMPP) for 2021.
In accordance with the 2019 – 2024 Phase II Eastern Washington Municipal Stormwater Permit (Permit), the SWMPP is designed to reduce the discharge of pollutants from the City’s storm sewer systems to the maximum extent practicable, satisfy State requirements, and protect water quality. The City’s SWMPP is also developed to inform the public of actions and activities that are planned during the upcoming annual reporting cycle of the permit.
A draft 2021 SWMPP has been prepared and is now available for public comment here. The Public Comment period is open now until April 30.
