City View Cemetery in Pasco will be the dedication site of a new Veterans Wall on Memorial Day. The public is invited to help honor and remember the sacrifices of the nation’s armed forces.
The activities and events scheduled for Monday, May 31, starting at 11 am, include:
- Introductory comments by Councilmember Pete Serrano
- Formal dedication by Mayor Pro-Tem Blanche Barajas
- Speech from former KNDU weatherman and veteran Tim Adams
- Poem reading by Captain Murrell Petry
- Invocation by Pastor Jerry Carter from the Richland Church of the Nazarene.
