[ARCHIVED] Peanuts Park and Farmers Market Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, Friday, March 11, 1 pm

Farmers Market

Please join the City & community in officially opening the new Pasco Farmers Market and Peanuts Park on Friday, March 11, at 1 pm in Downtown Pasco at the corner of 4th Avenue and Columbia Street.

The new upgrades to the Park and Farmers Market include:

  • New covers for the Farmer's Market area
  • Replacement of the 1970s era concrete features
  • Upgraded infrastructure to better support food trucks and events

The Project has been funded from various sources. Funding has been through a federal Community Block Grant loan, two Legislative appropriations from the State of Washington, and supplemental funds from the City's General Fund.

The Peanuts Park project is one of two significant projects in Downtown Pasco; the Lewis Street Overpass construction is underway. For a total of over $30 million, these projects signify the City's strong commitment to the Downtown area.

Thank you to our partners, including the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development, the 16th Washington State Legislative Delegation, and former Senator Maureen Walsh and Representative Bill Jenkin, for their efforts to secure the Project's funding.

You can watch recent drone video of the upgrades here.
