The City of Pasco is looking to the future with the development of the draft Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Master Plan and needs public input for a complete Plan. The draft Plan provides a cohesive vision with goals, strategies, and objectives based on community input and technical analysis of the system. The draft Plan inventories existing parks and facilities, identify community needs and directs funding and investment over the next twenty years.
The public is invited to review the draft Plan and provide comments, questions, and clarifications via the City’s website. Also on the site is a supporting technical appendix with additional information and details accompanying the plan document. The City will use the feedback to consider any needed refinements to the draft document. Input should be in by December 31.
The City Council will review the Plan in 2023 and consider any further refinements for adoption.
