The Pasco City Council invites the public to meet Interim City Manager Adam Lincoln at a reception on Wednesday, March 8, at 6 pm at the Holiday Inn Express, 4525 Convention Place.
The City Council is considering the next moves for a permanent City Manager and is seeking feedback from the public. The City Manager is appointed by and serves at the discretion of the Pasco City Council to implement the Council's vision and goals. Lincoln was hired as Deputy City Manager in 2020 and was appointed as Interim City Manager in October 2022 after the retirement of City Manager Dave Zabell.
Before coming to Pasco, Lincoln was the City of Pullman's City Administrator. Before Pullman, Lincoln was the Assistant to the City Manager for the City of Lakewood. Lincoln has worked at the federal, state, and local levels of government for over fifteen years. Lincoln is active within the city management profession and belongs to several municipal management organizations. He earned his MPA from the University of Washington Evans School of Governance and Public Policy and his BA from Western Washington University. "The City Council is pleased to extend an invite to the public to attend this reception. The role of the City Manager is crucial, especially in a fast-growing city like Pasco," said Mayor Blanche Barajas. "The Council hopes to have a decision as soon as possible," she added.
The City of Pasco strives to continue improving the quality of community life in Pasco.
