THANK YOU VOLUNTEERS! – Volunteer Appreciation week occurs in April each year and we at the Pasco Recreation would like to take this opportunity to say thank you. Many of the programs and events we plan and host each year would not be possible were it not for the many wonderful volunteers from the community. DIA DE LOS NINOS: Pasco Recreation Services will be participating in the annual Dia De Los Ninos event organized by Mid-Columbia Libraries. This event is a free family event and will take place on Saturday, April 25 at Memorial Park in Pasco from 11:00am to 3:00pm. The event will included games, prizes, performances, free books and food vendors. So bring the family to Memorial Park for this fun filled event and stop by our booth while you are there.


SPRING BAZAAR: This indoor event promises to be a fun, and exciting day with vendors from around the area showcasing their arts, crafts, antiques and other wares. TODDLER SHORT SPORTS: This partnership program with the YMCA is an exciting introduction to a variety of sports for your 2 ½ to 4 year old. During the class children will be introduced to soccer, t-ball, track & field, volleyball and more! MINI-KICKERS SOCCER: This program teaches basic soccer skills while developing strength, balance, coordination, listening skills, cooperation and teamwork. GIRL’S INTERMEDIATE SOFTBALL: The next step in our youth program. It gives girls the opportunity to play softball on a slightly more competitive level. LANDSCAPE BOOTCAMP - THE BASICS TO A SUCCESSFUL YARD: Alex Job of Job's Nursery LLC will be going over the basics of selecting, planting, caring and maintaining plants to have a successful, easy care landscape. ENHANCE FITNESS: An exercise program designed for mature individuals, focusing on stretching, flexibility, balance, low impact aerobics and strength training. RITMO LATINO FOR ADULTS: Latin Rhythms! Explore the lively and vigorous social dance of Latin America and other countries with the Kalliflorico Dance Company. This is a fun and exciting new program. DROP IN VOLLEYBALL: A fun, informal way for adults to participate in the sport of volleyball. Players will be randomly placed on teams. SENIOR CENTER: Looking for a place to get out of the house, meet and socialize with others? Come to the Pasco Senior Center, we have all kinds of stuff to do! Open Monday thru Friday 8 am to 5 pm. The Pasco Senior Center is located at 1315 N. 7th Ave. in Pasco.
