Will I be required to use City sewer service?
If sewer lines are extended into an area [done typically through a Local Improvement District (LID) process], property owners are *not* required to connect to the system *unless* their septic system fails and the property is within 200 feet of a sewer line (this is a State Health Department requirement, not a City one).
