If there is a deposit on your account, it will be applied to any outstanding balance after the account closes. The credit balance, if any, will be issued to the account holders’ names after the final bill is processed.
FOR OWNERS ONLY:
We must verify with county records that the sale of the property has been recorded before we can create an account in the new owner(s)’ name.
If an escrow check is received from a title company, it will be applied to any outstanding balance after the account closes. The credit balance, if any, will be issued to the name(s) of the seller on the escrow check after the final bill is processed.
Your e-mail and any e-mail responses from the City are considered a public record and will be subject to disclosure under Washington’s Public Records Disclosure Act.
